Social Media & Marketing Internship Summer 2017

Part-time 10-15 hours/week (unpaid) 

Deso is looking for a versatile, creative, and scrappy intern who is passionate about our brand to join our Marketing team.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to learn the inner workings of a young outdoor apparel company and specialize content creation and social media marketing. You will use your passion for social media strategy and your analytical, creative mind to help grow and engage Deso’s client base. We’re a young, fun and adventurous team that needs someone to help us take our social media marketing to the next level. If that sounds like you, keep reading!!

Desired Skills:

> Strong proficiency with the following social media platforms: Instagram, Facebook, Pinterest

> Experience using or desire to learn & implement analytical tools to scale social media campaigns

> An ear to the ground in the blogging world and interest in engaging with outdoor community

> Strong writing and communication skills complementing impeccable grammar.

> Interest in traditional marketing supported by relevant marketing coursework.

> Be someone who gets shit done - We’re looking for someone who is ready to make something of this opportunity.

 Responsibilities:

> Create content for social media channels and assist with day-to-day tasks and programs

> Assist in planning and execution of marketing promotions, editorial partnerships and influencer campaigns

> Assist with special projects and events as needed.

> Help with influencer community relations and management

> Available to work between 10-15 hours per week
