Small Batch Manufacturing

Large-scale garment manufacturing often overlooks quality and detail when producing at volume under strict deadlines. Too many overseas factories have awful working conditions and unlivable wages. We opt for domestic manufacturing not only to shorten our supply chain, but to oversee the product manufacturing life cycle and maintain genuine relationships with the humans producing our garments. The quality of our garments comes from experienced tailors who are paid livable wages and work in healthy conditions right in the heart of Los Angeles, CA. We source our materials from suppliers who share our values and prioritize quality and functionality. We pride ourselves on attention to detail and create truly unique garments in small enough quantities that you will seldom - if ever - find another person wearing the same piece.

I'm not a dress/skirt person, but just kept looking at this. When I was in the store I had to try it on and then absolutely had to buy it. I actually have hiked in it, it's breathable, just stretchy enough and short enough where I was very unaware I was wearing a dress other than the comfort. Pockets are great (definitely the selling point), fit my iphone just fine and snap shut. One thing I hadn't thought of is how convenient dresses are for lake hikes--I jumped in the lake and then could change into dry undies really easily under the dress (genius!). I like the way it looks like different styles of shoes too--I think will be a go-to all summer/fall :D.
I like the XS fit of my Deso pullover and shorts, and the XS tees are quite big on me, but for this dress the Small fit more comfortably around my butt and underarms. I'm 5'3", about 115 lbs, small bust, pretty athletic/muscled around the butt and underarms though (will typically wear a XS or S shirts and 0/24 pants).

I typically wear a size 10 on the bottom and this dress was tight as it could be in size L. Im not even confident an XL would fit.
